Finn was a little surprised, when he looked through the glass doors. The room was considerably, filling up fast. He thought there would be just a handful of them, judging from the exclusive method in which the invitation arrived. As he got ready to push the door open and enter, another man rushed towards him from his right side. “Oh hi,” greeted the newcomer. As he briefly averted his eyes, to also look through the glass doors. “Hello, I am Finn Bricks.” He had now removed his hand, from the door. Which already swung back, to its closed position. Then he reached out to shake the other guy’s hand. “Are you the politician Finn Bricks? He asked with a smile, before quickly supplying. "Delo Traine, a pleasure” "Likewise," that one agreed.

“Oh wait a minute, but of course!” Exclaimed the first guy suddenly, running his fingers through sandy blonde hair and pointing. “I thought I recognized you too. You are the entertainment mogul.” The other guy laughed, swinging his head back and flashing white teeth against dark skin. He always liked it, when people recognized him. Considering he worked mostly, behind the scenes. But they knew him and it felt good. Even if that feeling lasted, for just a few moments. A scarce fleeting moment, before the darkness settled in like a cloud. A heaviness that wrapped around his head, like a tight hood. “Yes I am he. Glad to meet you. Shall we?” He pulled the door handle himself this time, as both men stepped into the room.

“He he he he!” A deep voice came from behind both advancing men and grabbed Delo by the shoulder. “Hey brother,” the pulled man greeted exuberantly. After he turned and recognition hit him. “It has been a while and you sure look good.” The deep voice continued, looking over his friend as he spoke. “It sure has been. You look quite well yourself.” He assured, flashing his signature smile. “So glad to see you my man,” he concluded. Before turning to Finn, who stood quietly, watching the exchange. “Mr Bricks, please meet my childhood friend Trel Dayz.” Delo introduced, his hand on Trel’s shoulder. “In fact, he is more like a brother to me. And he is also a director, in one of the largest firms in this country.” The music executive added. “Finn please,” the other man reached out his hand again. “You can call me Finn.”

“Now let’s see if all three of us, can squeeze in somewhere together,” suggested Delo. As he looked around, scanning the half-filled room. “Over there,” said Finn. He was pointing to a round table, at the far left of the room. “It appears to be close to the podium and there is only one person seating there.” The three men walked over to the table. “Mind if we join you?” Delo asked the lone man sitting and reading a book. The man looked up, quickly observed all three of them and shrugged his shoulder. “Sure why not,” he invited.

“Good day, I am Delo Traine.” He introduced himself, to the sitting man. “Abel Mark, a priest and I am pleased to meet you.” He supplied, smiling slightly as the other two guys followed suit.

“Welcome gentlemen, to our first ever ‘Bended and Broken’ Conference.” Someone tapped on the microphone and spoke, causing the room to go quiet and all to turn towards the sound of the voice. “Glad that you could make it. Every person in this room, has something in common. And that is exactly why you received, ‘The INVITATION’….”
